Team Introduction:

The research team (Micro-Nano Photonics and Devices) focuses on the research of cutting-edge technologies and applications in the fields of micro-nano optics, optical sensing, optoelectronic nanomaterials and devices. The research interests mainly cover optical fiber sensing, photo-acoustic sensing, optoelectronic detection, gas detection, optical manipulation, and energy harvesting. The team currently has 11 researcher members, among whom 3 have been granted with Hubei Province Talent Program. In recent years, the team has granted various projects such as the national key research and development program, the national natural science foundation of China, the innovation special zone projects, provincial and ministerial-level projects, and enterprise technology cooperation projects, etc.. There are many papers have been published in international high-level journals such as Matter, Chemical Engineering Journal, Nano Energy, Small, Advanced Optical Materials, Journal of Lightwave Technology, Optics Letters, and Optics Express. It has been authorized with 20 national invention patents, and 2 of them have been transferred. The team has also published a bunch of textbooks and monographs: Fiber Optics, Optical Fiber Sensors and Their Application Technologies, Fiber Optic Interferometers: Principles and Applications, Principles of Modern Optical Information Sensing, Applied Optics, and Self-Assembled Metal Particles applied in the UV Photodetection, etc..
