Biography

2021.11-Present, Professor, Department of Physics, School of Physics and Mechanics, Wuhan University of Technology, China.

2016.06-2021.10, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, School of Science, Wuhan University of Technology, China.

Research Interests

Analytical theory and numerical simulation of plasma physics, including both quantum and classical plasmas.

Quantum plasmas, including high energy density physics related to ion-beam-driven inertial confinement fusion, and Warm Dense Matter (WDM), using Quantum Hydrodynamics (QHD) models with a combination of linear analytical theory and nonlinear numerical simulation.

Classical plasmas, including Tokamak start-up processes in magnetic confinement fusion, micro-plasmas in low-temperature plasmas, dielectric barrier discharge, capacitively coupled plasmas, and gas breakdown problems, mainly using Particle-in-cell/Monte Carlo (PIC/MC) models.

Publications

Has published over 90 papers as the first author or corresponding author in high-level international journals such as Plasma Sources Science and Technology and the Journal of Applied Physics.
