Chinese Undergraduate Physics Experiment Innovation Design Competition
Overview
The
Chinese Undergraduate Physics Experiment Innovation Design
Competition is held annually in three tiers: university-level,
provincial-level, and national-level contests. The university-level
competition is organized by the Undergraduate Education
Administration Office and hosted by the School of Physics and
Mechanics and the Physics Experiment Center. The provincial-level
competition is coordinated by the Hubei Provincial Department of
Education’s Organizing Committee for the Undergraduate Physics
Experiment Innovation Design Competition, the Hubei Higher Education
Experimental Physics Teaching Research Association, and the
designated host university within Hubei Province for that year. The
national competition is organized by the National Higher Education
Experimental Physics Teaching Research Association and the National
Undergraduate Physics Experiment Competition Committee, and is hosted
annually by a selected university in China. With participation from
over 700 institutions across the country, it is the only
physics-focused competition included in the
"National University Student Competition Ranking List ".
The competition
aims to inspire students’ interest and potential in physics
experiments, cultivate innovation, practical skills, and teamwork,
and advance the reform of physics experiment teaching in higher
education.
Competition Categories
Assigned Topic Category: Designing innovative experimental solutions based on specified topics.
Open Topic Category: Conducting experimental research on self-selected cutting-edge or applied subjects.
Teaching Demonstration Category: Developing and delivering instructional designs focused on physics experiment teaching.
